As can be seen on EcoEffect's website, finished products are graded on a certain principle. The types of qualities we offer are: A / B; B / C; C / C; Rustic.
Below you can see a short description of each type of qualities we offer for our products and their specifications.
BEECH
A / B
Front side - A: The surface is equally colored. It has a perfect look. Knots with a diameter of not more than 5 mm and no more than 3 knots per m2 are allowed.
Side Back - B: There may be different coloring and knots no larger than 20 mm in diameter.
B / C
Front side - B: There may be different coloring and knots no larger than 20 mm in diameter. Not more than 5 knots per m2.
Side Back - C: Partial clusters of knots are allowed. There may be different coloring. There is also partial darkening on some of the details and slight cracks.
C / C
On both sides, falling knots, different coloring and slight cracks, as well as partial darkening of some of the details, are allowed.
Rustic
Characterized by an authentic look. There is different coloring, partial clusters of knots and partial darkening of the details. There is a different pattern of lamellas in length and width. Particularly appropriate for the production of authentic furnishings. According to the needings it can be used for bars and restaurants, where the atmosphere requires a similar kind of room furniture.
OAK
A / B
Front side - A: The face is clear and looks equal. No knots, different coloring, cracks or sapwood are allowed.
Side Back - B: There may be minor defects. Knots no larger than 25 mm in diameter are allowed. As well, it is possible to see different coloring or sapwood in the details of lamellas.
B / C
Front side - B: Up to 25 mm in diameter and not more than 5 knots per m2 are allowed. There is also a different coloring of details or sapwood.
Side-back - C: Allows different coloring, partially clustered knots, cracks and sapwood.
C / C
Falling knots, cracks, different coloring and partial darkening of the details of the lamellas are allowed.
